When is the referral fee paid?

Your referral commission is released in four equal quarterly instalments in arrears, beginning after the referred client has completed a minimum continuous stay of three (3) calendar months at The Phoenix and all fees for the relevant quarter have been duly collected by The Square Offices.Example: On a ₦60,000,000 annual contract, your total commission of ₦6,000,000 would be paid as four instalments of ₦1,500,000 each — at the end of Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 of the client's first year, subject to fee collection. Commission is transferred to your registered bank account within 10 business days of each quarterly milestone.

What qualifies as a valid referral registration?

Accepted Answer

A referral is valid when all three conditions are met simultaneously:The referral form is submitted and acknowledged by The Square Offices before the prospect makes any independent contact with our team, website enquiry, or direct call.The prospect's decision-maker details are accurately provided and the prospect can be positively identified as the party who subsequently signs a service agreement.The prospect was not already in our active CRM or had not previously engaged with The Square Offices within the preceding 12 months.In the event of a dispute over referral priority, the submission timestamp on our system shall be the definitive record.

Can I refer my own company or an entity I have a financial interest in?

Accepted Answer

No. The Partner Referral Programme is designed exclusively for genuine third-party introductions. You may not refer any entity in which you hold a directorship, ownership stake, employment relationship, or any other material financial interest.Self-referrals, referrals of family members' companies, or referrals of entities in which you stand to gain commercially beyond this programme's commission are not eligible. The Square Offices reserves the right to withhold commission where a conflict of interest is identified. What if the prospect takes a larger custom enterprise suite?

Accepted Answer

Your 10% commission applies to the total first-year annual contract value — regardless of whether the prospect takes a standard private office or negotiates a bespoke enterprise suite arrangement.Example: If your referred prospect signs a custom enterprise agreement valued at ₦120,000,000 for their first year, your referral commission would be ₦12,000,000 — released in four equal quarterly instalments of ₦3,000,000 each. The 10% rate applies to the base annual service fee, excluding caution deposits, VAT, and ancillary service charges.
